We believe that everyone who will be present at your birth should watch it — that way, you can be sure that everyone has the same basic understanding of what to expect.

We also encourage you to talk about this with your birth partner. Why would you prefer to give birth at home or in the hospital? What helps you relax? What do you find exciting or scary? What do you expect from each other? Having these conversations is essential — even if you don’t want to create a detailed birth plan.
