Postpartum Plan
We recommend creating a plan together during pregnancy for this special period. By discussing in advance what matters most to you — around rest, visitors, feeding, sleep, and support — you’ll create more peace of mind and clarity once your baby arrives.
Our Postpartum Plan can help, though it’s certainly not required. It’s a practical tool to help you reflect together on what you’ll need as a family in the first week after birth. The plan includes questions that guide you in sharing expectations, making agreements, and setting priorities. Think about things like: who can visit, how you’ll divide caregiving tasks, what helps you relax, and how you can keep each other in balance.
By having these conversations before the birth, you reduce the risk of stress or misunderstandings during the postpartum week — allowing you to experience those first days, when everything is new, with greater calm and confidence.
💛 Tip: Take a quiet moment together in the final weeks of pregnancy to fill out the plan. You can always adjust it later — it’s your plan, not an obligation.
