Midwifery student

We believe it’s important to contribute to the education of future midwives. Only by welcoming new colleagues can we ensure that the next generations continue to receive skilled and compassionate care. That’s why we regularly host a student from the Midwifery Academy for several weeks each year.

Your safety and experience always come first

Our students join us during consultations, assist at births, and accompany us on postnatal visits. What they’re allowed to do depends on their stage of training and level of experience. All of this takes place under our direct supervision and responsibility—we are always present ourselves.

The presence of a student has no impact on the quality of the care you receive. We make sure you always feel comfortable and that our care continues to meet the highest professional standards.

We hope you feel open to having a student involved—after all, they learn the most through hands-on experience. But it’s completely your choice. If you’d prefer not to have a student present during your appointments or birth, just let us know. We’ll make sure your wishes are respected. You can mention this to us directly or to our assistant.
